Spatial Data and Technologies in Local Authorities

This webinar provided a great opportunity to see the application of spatial data and technologies in innovative ways that deliver value to Councils and their customers.  Barry Doyle, Roscommon Co Co gave an overview of GIS in Irish local authorities and how it had eveolved over the last 10 years.  Jon Hawkins, Waterford Co Co spoke on how they are improving business processes using FME.  Daragh McDonough, Donegal Co Co discussed using GIS as a tool to communicate with the public during the Winter Maintenance Programme and Stephen Mc Loughlin, South Dublin Co Co talked about how the SDCC have prioritised locations in the County using maps and apps for the treatment of invasive species.
