Cillian Lehmann, Project Manager at the Land Development Agency: Using Data to Provide Sustainable Housing on State Owned Land

20210513_091933.jpgCillian Lehmann has been working in the Land Development Agency as the GIS and Database Manager for the past two years. His primary focus has been on building the State Lands Database. Cillian is a graduate of TY Dublin and Trinity College and has an Architectural Technology background. Previously, Cillian has worked in various architectural and project management roles in the National Building Agency, the Housing Agency and Dublin City Council.

Dr. Sarah Bourke, Chief Executive and Co-Founder of Skytek: Earth Observations with GIS 

Dr. Bourke was recognised by the EU as one of Europe's leading innovators when she was awarded the EU Prize for Women Innovators in 2016. During this process, she was recognised for her leadership and commercial success in pioneering ground breaking space technology. On a day-to-day basis, Sarah works with leading research organisations like the European Space Agency (ESA) and NASA, in addition to growing the Skytek brand.

In 2019, under her leadership, Skytek announced a strategic partnership with AON. Together, they will combine their expertise to offer the insurance and reinsurance industry space adapted software systems to better manage marine, port cargo and offshore asset risk.

Sarah is a PhD graduate of Trinity College Dublin and has worked at leading universities and governmental agencies before co-founding Skytek Limited.

Dominic Fahey, Chief Technical Officer at GeoDirectory: Tech Changes Coming to GeoDirectory

385_0140.jpgDominic is a qualified Systems Analyst who has worked in Ordnance Survey Ireland, An Post and GeoDirectory DAC. He also has qualifications in Cartography, GIS from University College Cork and Strategic Leadership from the Institute of Leadership and Management London. He has worked as a Cartographer, Database Administrator, Business and Systems Analyst along with other senior management and training roles. He has an in-depth understanding of data capture and how to ensure the data is accurate and fit for purpose. He has supported GeoDirectory in a sales and marketing capacity and is the current CTO of GeoDirectory DAC.

Anne McAreavey, Head of Client Services, STATSports: How Data Analytics in Sport is Changing The Game

As Head of Client Services within STATSports, the Newry based sports technology company, Anne McAreavey is helping the business to continue it's phenomenal growth trajectory in Business Development whilst also managing a global Account Management team, delivering world class service to valued clients.

Providing industry leading technology and data insights, STATSports works with many of the world's leading sporting organisations across the world including Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, Brazil FA and US Soccer to name just a few.

Since beginning her career with Nectar, the UK's largest and most engaged loyalty programme with over 18 million members, Anne has a passion for the power of data. After spending 4 years at Nectar working with brands such as Sainsbury's, eBay and Oxfam, Anne then moved to Paddy Power, managing their Sportsbook Affiliate network and third party partnerships. Anne then spent 4 years working with SSE Airtricity, managing their Loyalty Programme and Sponsorship portfolio before moving into a Strategic Business Development role, building out a B2B Energy Services portfolio.

Luca Longo, Scientist and TEDx speaker: The Imitation Game and a Critical Reflection on the Real Meaning of Artificial Intelligence

Dr. Longo is an early-stage scientist with a curiosity and passion for knowledge and excellence in science. Having initially studied Computer Science at the University of Insubria Varese, Italy, receiving an honours BSc and an MSc with distinction. Luca takes an ongoing approach to academia. His achievements include a Postgraduate Diploma in Statistics and an MSc in Health Informatics (awarded with distinction) at Trinity College, Dublin. Here, he successfully defended his PhD thesis in Artificial Intelligence. Additionally, he has recently obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Learning and Teaching at Technology University Dublin, as well as an MSc in Applied e-Learning.

Luca's areas of expertise lie in Artificial Intelligence and Innovation Applications with particular emphasis on formal reasoning and the world wide web. He is a lecturer, covering both MSc and PhD courses in Computer Science and the leader of a team of talented post-graduated individuals working with Artificial Intelligence.

Luca's vision is to formalise the ill-defined of human mental workload as a computational concept through deductive knowledge representation and reasoning techniques (Defeasible Reasoning, Argumentation Theory) and inductive modelling techniques (Machine Learning), coupled with ideas coming from Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI). His field of applications includes Human-Computer Interaction, Education, NeuroScience and Universal Design.
