Located in Celbridge at end of the main street and just over 20km from Dublin City Centre it combines the feel of space and freedom with quick and easy access to the small village experience. And has the added bonus of being on the grounds of Castletown House with its gentle and picturesque walks along the river Liffey.

The experience of closeness and continuity is felt in the design of the house with its rounded rooms and its tie with the adjoining gatelodge buildings - known separately as The Round House, The Pottery and The Gate House. Draped in history these buildings were originally built around 1780’s, and at the time home to Lady Louisa Connolly. In the 1950's the Mercier family lived there, originally they lived in the first lodge but later moved to the second lodge where they had the luxury of an indoor bathroom – fancy!

4. Clomantagh Castle, Freshford, Co.Kilkenny

5. Galley Head Lightkeeper’s House 1, Clonakilty, Co Cork

We all want a great holiday and a great story from our holiday. What we want is a unique and unforgettable trip. If this description ticks your holiday/get away boxes then Galley Head Lightkeeper’s House can offer just that. No matter where you look you will be greeted by stunning views of the coastline. Situated on the edge of the dramatic cliffs at about 130 feet above sea level overlooking St George's Channel.  The raw power and majestic nature on your door step. You can feel the wind and smell the sea as you see the waves break on the rocks below.

The station was built in 1875 with two Lighthouse Keeper’s Houses on the premises. It consists of a tower connected by a 38 metre corridor to the semi-detached, two-storey, dwelling, originally built for the principal and assistant keeper. The two houses have been restored to their original symmetrical layout and make an ideal place for a family break.
